Globelink WW commences LCL Services from MICT
In yet another first, Globelink WW starts off LCL consolidation services from Mundra International Container Terminal to Far East, Europe, Middle East and African Ports
Globelink WW India has yet again proved its strength in the consolidation business by being the first LCL service provider in the country to commence consolidation services from the Mundra International Container Terminal. Leveraging its unparalleled network in India and globally, Globelink WW will start off weekly services to Far East, Europe, Middle East and African Ports beginning November onwards
Globelink WW India initiated its consol services from MICT with the stuffing of its first direct consol to Felixstowe, UK at the MICT CFS premises in the presence of Shri K K Krishnadas, Director & CEO – MICT. According to Mr Krishnadas “I am really glad that Globelink WW, from among the top consolidators in the country today has stepped forward to commence its regular services from the Mundra International Container Terminal. MICT is committed to providing all assistance and looks to develop Mundra as a hub for LCL consolidation for export and Import shipments moving from the Northern and Western belt.” He also emphasised that “The Mundra International Container Terminal is on par with Nhava Sheva terminals, in terms of its connectivity to most ports across the world. MICT is also well connected via rail and road services to the Northern and Western regions of India”.
This new addition to the array of services already being offered by Globelink WW stems from its core ideology of constant innovation to enhance the logistic services delivered to Importers and Exporters across the world. The LCL consolidation services initially plans to target the needs of exporters from primarily Jamnagar, Rajkot, Morbi and other regions in the Kutch and Saurashtra belt. Globelink WW has already applied for permission to carry out LCL hub consolidation out of Mundra with the Customs Department, post which it would gradually divert shipments from Rajasthan and the Northern belt into Mundra thereby further strengthening its services
